Behrouz Biryani

My experience with Behrouz Biryani...
I received a call from Behrouz who wanted to deliver a Free Biryani Parcel to me so that I can write about them. The Delivery boy punctually handed over the box at my residence at the said time. I was expecting a note or something which would say what exactly contained in the parcel. But there was none.
The packaging was excellent and looked very royal. A brilliant logo they have I must say. I Googled a bit about Behrouz and came to know it serves authentic Awadh style Biryani and my mouth watered! Their website has got quite a lot of interesting Biryani stories, visit to enjoy them.

As I unboxed, I found chicken biryani, pudina raita and salaan in it. The quantity provided was a little more for one person and a little less for two. So, my husband ordered another one from the same outlet as we were expecting a friend as well for dinner. Whil…

Chai Galli

Chai Galli stands just 200 meters away from my home in Kundanhalli Colony. It had opened just a few months back and yet I was'nt able to take out time to visit the place all these days. Actually I imagined that this place would be a desi version of cafe coffee day who serve variety of tea in place of coffee. But hearing very nice reviews from friends, I finally made up my mind to bump in for a sunday brunch.
The place reminded me of a bollywood set as I entered. Very interesting decor with different variety of kettles, teapots hanging here and there. Colourful chairs and old bollywood movie posters added a filmy and casual feeling. It was a way too crowded than I had expected and we had to literally wait for 5 mins to get a table for four.

Very interesting menu options available. And I was totally baffled what to order as all my favourites showed up in the menu card. Though we were just four of us but all are equally foodie. We ordered 3 teappots of different variations of tea:

Cafe Buzzinga

Contrary to the name, Café Buzzinga turned out to be a quite peaceful and nice little place. Its located in Thuberahalli, just opposite to the lake view farm.
We were a group of 10 hungry souls who came for Saturday brunch at Buzzinga. A very laid back and casual decor. We chose to sat outdoors and occupied the central sitting area It was chilly even at 10:30 am in the morning. So we ordered coffee first. A well defined and abundant menu options are available for breakfast. Wholesome English breakfast with different variations of eggs, potatoes, chicken were tempting. I ordered Iranian platter. Our friends ordered American breakfast, burgers, variety of omelette, pancakes and beverages.
While the food arrived we had a stroll beside the parking area. After that we quickly had some photo session as there was a beautiful sky blue door kept at the middle (out of nowhere). One can really get some beautiful clicks there.

Staff was courteous and helped us taking pictures. They also played…

Chilies, Indiranagar

We had planned the last dinner of 2016 at Chilies. The reason of choosing this venue was:
It was near to our Friend's placeThere are a variety of continental options available at ChiliesThere is separate Kids menu availableNo tension of parking space as valet parking was availableLast but not the least, we wanted to see the new year decorations across the 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar :)Ours was a group of six including two kids. Owing to the anticipated rush, we landed up quite early to this place (around 7:45 pm).
The place had been  pretty nicely decorated to welcome the new year. Infact all other restaurants across both sides of the street had equally appealing décor.
We were greeted by the staff  upstairs who helped us feel comfortable. We managed to grab the leftmost corner location. It was surprising to see only few tables were occupied as we settled. However as the clock stuck 8:30, it became a complete houseful.
We -hungry souls ordered cheese pops, onion ring fritters and chick…
